Lucis 52-Inch Flush Mount Ceiling Fan With Light
Make a decorative statement without a hanging downrod. Lucis combines a 52-inch, five-blade ceiling fan with a matte-black ornamental scroll cage and three E12 bulb sockets. The reversible plywood blades offer black or dark-walnut wood-grain faces to match your room.
A reversible DC motor provides six fan speeds, natural-wind mode and remote-controlled forward or reverse operation. The included remote also controls the light and offers 1-, 2-, 4- and 8-hour automatic shutoff settings.
Bulbs are not included. Use three compatible E12 bulbs rated no more than 9W each. Indoor, flat-ceiling flush-mount installation; built-in light dimming is not documented.

Lucis Ceiling Fan FAQs
Is Lucis a flush-mount ceiling fan?
Yes. Lucis is a close-to-ceiling design for a flat-ceiling installation without a traditional downrod. Product imagery gives an approximate complete height of 12.08 inches; verify safe clearances and the installed dimensions before ordering.
What light bulbs does the Lucis fan require?
Lucis uses three E12 bulb sockets. Each requires a compatible bulb rated at no more than 9W. Bulbs are not included, so choose suitable replacements before installation.
Does Lucis have an integrated LED or built-in dimming?
No. Lucis has replaceable E12 bulbs rather than an integrated LED module. The included remote switches the light on and off; a built-in brightness-dimming function is not documented for this model.
Can I choose black or dark-walnut fan blades?
Yes. Each of the five plywood blades has black and dark-walnut decorative faces. Choose the side you want visible when assembling the fan; this is separate from reversing the direction of the motor.
How many speeds and timer settings does the remote offer?
The supplied remote provides six fan-speed settings, natural-wind mode, fan-direction control and 1-, 2-, 4- and 8-hour automatic timers, as described in the current Lucis product information.
Can the fan reverse its airflow direction?
Yes. The reversible DC motor can change rotation direction using the remote. Use an appropriate setting for seasonal air circulation and follow the instructions in the product manual.
Can the Lucis be mounted on a sloped ceiling?
Sloped-ceiling compatibility has not been established for the 40016-BK model. It is presented as a flat-ceiling flush-mount fan, not as a downrod-mounted or angled-ceiling product.
Is Lucis suitable for an outdoor patio?
Lucis is intended for indoor use. A damp-location or wet-location certification has not been verified, so it should not be recommended for covered patios that may be exposed to moisture or rain.
Is the installation video specific to Lucis 40016-BK?

Are the E12 light bulbs included?
