52-Inch Ceiling Fan With Light for Everyday Living Spaces
Neven pairs a polished chrome fan body with five silver-finish blades and a crystal-accented light fixture. The 52-inch span gives the fan a full-room presence, while three E12 bulb sockets let you choose compatible bulbs for the room. A reversible DC motor, six fan speeds and the included remote make day-to-day airflow simple to adjust from your seat.
Shown in an indoor living room setting. Confirm ceiling support, clearances and downrod choice for your own installation.
Neven at a Glance
These are the details we would check first when deciding whether Neven fits the room, ceiling and way you want to control the fan.
A 52-Inch Fan for Living, Dining, Bedroom and Kitchen Spaces
Neven works best where you want the ceiling fan to contribute to the room visually as well as move air. The polished chrome housing, silver blades and crystal light assembly make it a natural fit for brighter interiors, while the 52-inch span suits rooms where a small decorative fan would feel undersized.
Chrome Ceiling Fans With Light Can Be Decorative, Too
Neven uses a reflective chrome finish around the motor housing and blade arms, then carries that finish into the crystal-accented light assembly below. The clear decorative pieces catch the light without changing the fan into an enclosed or caged design.
The five silver-finish blades keep the overall palette coordinated, so the fan reads as one chrome-and-silver fixture rather than separate fan and light components.
Three E12 Bulb Bases for the Crystal Light Fixture
The light assembly uses three E12 bulb bases, with bulbs purchased separately. That lets you choose compatible bulb brightness and color appearance instead of relying on a permanently integrated LED board.
5 Blade Ceiling Fan With Light and Remote
Five silver-finish plywood blades create the 52-inch span. The blade shape stays simple so the crystal light remains the decorative focal point below the motor housing.
If you are choosing between blade counts, use the room dimensions, published product specifications and the fan's complete motor-and-blade system rather than assuming five blades automatically means more or less airflow.
DC Motor Ceiling Fan With Light and Remote
The included remote handles the functions we expect to use most often: six fan speeds, light on/off, Natural Wind mode, forward or reverse rotation, and 1-, 2-, 4- or 8-hour timers. The receiver pairs with the handheld remote during setup, and two AAA batteries are required for the remote.
Is Neven the Right Ceiling Fan for Your Room?
Neven makes the most sense when the chrome-and-crystal look is part of what you want from the ceiling fixture, not just airflow alone.
- You want a 52-inch downrod fan for an indoor living space.
- You like polished chrome, silver blades and crystal accents.
- You want replaceable E12 bulbs instead of an integrated LED board.
- You want six fan speeds, remote control, reverse and timers.
- Your ceiling can safely support a fan-rated outlet box and the required clearances.
- You need a flush-mount or low-profile fan with no downrod.
- You need integrated dimmable LED lighting.
- You need a documented Damp or Wet location rating.
- You prefer a no-light ceiling fan or a simpler non-decorative fixture.
- Your installation cannot maintain the manual's minimum blade-to-floor clearance.
Downrod Ceiling Fan With Light and Remote: Check the Ceiling First
Neven includes both 5-inch and 10-inch downrods. Current product imagery shows an installed height of about 19.4 inches with the shorter configuration and about 24.4 inches with the longer configuration, and the current listing states support for sloped ceilings up to 15 degrees.
Before ordering, confirm the final fan height, blade clearance and ceiling support. The 40023-CH manual requires a UL-listed outlet box marked acceptable for fan support of 35 lb or less and a minimum of 7 feet from the trailing edge of the blades to the floor.
Electrical installation should follow the National Electrical Code and local codes and should be performed by a qualified licensed electrician.

Open User Manual (PDF)Neven 52-Inch Ceiling Fan FAQs
Common questions about bulbs, remote functions, downrods, slope compatibility and installation planning.
What type of bulbs does the Neven ceiling fan use?
Neven uses three E12 bulb bases, and bulbs are not included. The 40023-CH manual specifically warns against using dimmable bulbs with this fixture because they may flicker or create compatibility issues.
Does the Neven ceiling fan include a remote control?
Yes. The included remote controls six fan speeds, light on/off, Natural Wind mode, forward or reverse rotation, and 1-, 2-, 4- or 8-hour timers. Two AAA 1.5V batteries are required and are not included.
Is the Neven a reversible ceiling fan with light and remote?
Yes. The DC motor supports forward and reverse rotation from the remote, so you can change the fan direction without using a switch on the motor housing.
How many blades does the Neven ceiling fan have?
Neven has five silver-finish plywood blades with a 52-inch overall blade span.
What downrods are included with the Neven ceiling fan?
The current product package includes a 5-inch short downrod and a 10-inch long downrod. The product imagery shows an installed height of about 19.4 inches with the shorter setup and about 24.4 inches with the longer setup.
Can the Neven be installed on a sloped ceiling?
The current product listing and installation graphic state compatibility with sloped ceilings up to 15 degrees. The mounting surface and fan-rated outlet box still need to be suitable for the installation.
Can the Neven ceiling fan be used outdoors?
The current product listing includes covered-outdoor use, but the supplied manual does not state a Damp or Wet location rating. Do not treat this fan as moisture-rated or install it where it can be exposed to rain or water unless the location rating is confirmed for your installation.
What should I check before installing the Neven ceiling fan?
Use a securely mounted fan-rated outlet box and supporting structure. The manual requires a UL-listed outlet box marked acceptable for fan support of 35 lb or less and at least 7 feet of clearance from the trailing edge of the blades to the floor. Electrical installation should follow applicable codes and be performed by a qualified licensed electrician.
Is the installation video specific to Neven 40023-CH?
No. The video on this page is a temporary general installation reference and is not a model-specific Neven 40023-CH video. Use the 40023-CH product manual for the actual parts, wiring, receiver setup and assembly sequence.
