Rylis brings together a 52-inch blade span, a farmhouse-inspired caged light and everyday remote control in one indoor ceiling fan. Five reversible plywood blades let you choose between matte black and walnut wood-grain finishes, while the DC motor gives you six fan speeds, reverse operation, Natural Wind mode and timer settings from the remote.
Rylis is an indoor downrod fan. Check ceiling height, blade clearance and room proportions before ordering.

A Farmhouse Ceiling Fan for Bedrooms and Living Rooms
We designed Rylis for indoor rooms where a full 52-inch fan looks proportionate and a separate light fixture is useful. The black metal body keeps the profile grounded, while the reversible blade finish gives you a choice between a darker all-black look and a warmer walnut accent.
Six speeds help you fine-tune airflow, and our current product data lists operating noise below 35 dB.

Five Reversible Blades, Two Different Looks
Each plywood blade has a matte black side and a walnut wood-grain side. Use the black finish for a cleaner industrial-farmhouse look, or turn the blades over when you want more visible wood tone in the room. The five-blade layout keeps the design familiar while the exposed brackets and caged light add the farmhouse character.
E26 Caged Light for Easy Bulb Choice
Rylis uses one E26 bulb rated up to 10W, so the bulb can be selected separately instead of being built into an integrated LED module. The bulb is not included, and the current product specification lists the light as non-dimmable.
DC Motor, Six Speeds and Remote Control
The 35W DC motor is paired with the included receiver and remote. You can move through six fan speeds, switch the fan direction, turn the light on or off, select Natural Wind mode and use 1-hour, 2-hour, 4-hour or 8-hour timer settings. The product listing also publishes a maximum motor speed of 170 RPM.

Outdoor or damp-location use, a flush-mount profile for a low ceiling, an integrated LED, built-in dimming, a steeper slope than 12 degrees, or a separate solid-state wall speed controller.
Before You Order: Ceiling Height and Installation Check
Rylis includes 5-inch and 10-inch downrods. The manual shows an overall installed height of about 18.2 inches with the short rod and 23.2 inches with the long rod. The fan can be used on a flat ceiling or a sloped ceiling up to 12 degrees.
Installation Points to Confirm
Blade clearance: the manual requires at least 7 ft from the trailing edge of the blades to the floor.
Ceiling support: use a fan-rated outlet box and adequate ceiling structure; professional electrical installation is recommended.
Control system: use the included receiver and remote. The manual warns against adding a solid-state fan speed control device.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
