96–108 Inch Large Ceiling Fan FAQs
What sizes are available in this large ceiling fan series?
The product family includes 96-inch, 100-inch, and 108-inch variants. Blade count varies by model: the 96-inch size is offered with either 7 or 8 aluminum blades, the 100-inch model uses 8 blades, and the 108-inch model uses 7 blades.
Which variant has the highest published airflow?
The 96-inch 8-blade variant has the highest published airflow at 13,600 CFM. The 96-inch 7-blade and 100-inch 8-blade variants are listed at 7,500 CFM, while the 108-inch 7-blade model is listed at 8,500 CFM.
Is a 108-inch fan automatically more powerful than the 96-inch model?
No. Published airflow differs by the complete fan configuration, not diameter alone. In this family, the 96-inch 8-blade variant has a higher published CFM than the 108-inch 7-blade model.
Does this ceiling fan include a light?
No. Every variant on this product page is a fan-only design without an integrated light kit, making the series suitable for spaces that already use recessed, pendant, high-bay, or other separate lighting.
Does the remote control reverse the fan direction?
Yes. The product page lists a reversible DC motor, and the model manuals document forward and reverse fan-direction controls. Remote layout and timer options vary slightly by model, so follow the manual supplied for the exact SKU.
How many fan speeds are available?
The product page lists six fan speeds across the series. The manuals also document six-speed remote operation for the applicable models.
Which downrods are included?
The 96-inch 7-blade, 96-inch 8-blade, and 108-inch 7-blade variants include 6-inch, 12-inch, and 24-inch downrods. The 100-inch 8-blade model includes 5-inch and 10-inch downrods.
Can these fans be installed on a sloped ceiling?
The product page lists slope compatibility up to 14 degrees for the 96-inch and 108-inch configurations. The 100-inch 8-blade model is excluded from that sloped-ceiling statement and should be treated as a flat-ceiling configuration unless its model-specific instructions state otherwise.
What installation clearance should I follow?
Follow the manual for the exact SKU. The 29010, 29062, and 29063 manuals specify a minimum 10 ft (3.05 m) clearance from the trailing edge of the blades to the floor. The 42001 manual states a minimum 2.3 m floor clearance and 80 cm from walls.
Is this the same type of fan as a 12–24 ft HVLS industrial fan?
No. This 96–108-inch series is a large remote-controlled DC ceiling fan with standard downrod mounting. Breezary's 12–24 ft HVLS product line uses a different industrial platform, so compare the HVLS range if the project requires substantially larger diameters or facility-scale airflow planning.
