Choosing a Large Black Fan That Won't Overwhelm the Room
Black makes a large fan look larger. At 72 inches and up, eight or ten dark blades read as one solid shape against a pale ceiling. That can anchor a big room or crowd it. Start with the floor area to set the span. After that, choose how much of that dark disc you want overhead.
Size first, then judge the weight
